I early voted thursday....for Barack and I had to go and see him today....wild horses couldn't keep me away.My day started at 5am excited as I would see my candidate the first time.Driving to Peccole Park at that hour there was no one the road still night.I was hopeful I would get there early to get a good look at Barack.
It was on arrival I knew things were going to surprise and inspire.Just think at 5:30
am there are people bundled up,cold, coming from everywhere.I dare say my heart skipped as everybody started early.Luckily I found parking inside near the park as I have a disability.
I can't say enough good about Barack's campaign they are wonderful..more about that later.
I got in line and it was getting longer by the minute people were shivering .Talking to people in the line around me was interesting,a gentleman drove from the Lake and said it was his 1st time to see Barack totally inspired by him....as he was by RFK.
That was the view by the people in the line close to me , witnessing history by a man that could move people and inspire.
We stood for a long time then they opened the gates I was relieved.Walking slowly
down to the entry stiles two volunteer's saw me and said we have ADA seating would you like that .I said sure and they took me inside the park to an area with chairs so close to Barack I couldn't believe it.The campaign people told me that the "ADA"
Section was there VIP section, now that's great.
Not more than 20 feet from the podium in the 3rd row ...boy was I happy.
The images were taken from that point as you can see Barack was energetic and summoned us all to vote and vote early.I was really bolled over, what an experience 11,000 people wildly enthusiastic, cheering and not taking anything for granted.
He was totally focused talking about you and me and the problems that we face everyday.
Healthcare, jobs, taxes, the economy and of course the last terrible 8 years.
Barack is everything we all see but in person he is really special ....he is truely one of us.
Thank you.
