Watershed moment happening in VA. Obama has taken a double digit lead in multiple polls in VA. The SurveyUSA has him up 53-43 and the Suffolk Poll has him 51-39.
A new SurveyUSA poll has Obama up in VA by 10 points, while the Suffolk poll has him up by 12 at 51-39!
The most refreshing news for the Obama Campaign, and most troubling for McSame is that this is not just a Northern VA push. As the Huff Post describes:
McCain no longer leads in any region of the state. In Northeastern VA, which includes the DC suburbs, Obama leads by 24 points. In Central Virginia, home of the Confederate White House, the Museum of the Confederacy and Appomattox, Obama today leads by 8. In Southeastern Virginia, Obama leads by 11. In the Shenandoah, where John McCain led by 24 points one month ago, Obama and McCain today tie.
Another refreshing insight to be gained from this piece of news is that these are post Biden-Palin debate polls, which suggest that if anything Virginians are scared shitless about having her a heartbeat from the presidency as the economy continues to spiral out of control. But more importantly it has seriously brought into question McSame's judgment about Palin as a serious VP pick.
I have to say i was not expecting these numbers from VA. He is doing better in VA at this point than in PA, MI, WI, and other states that have traditionally gone blue.
I think the new Obama slogan should be - I'm Loving It!
