I've voted in every election since I turned 18 back in '88 and Democratic ever since the wingnuts took over the Republican party back in '94.
But today I got up at quarter to six so I could vote early here in NYC. What I saw shocked me.
The line at 6:00 AM was 150 people deep. I live in the heart of Manhattan and the polling places are usually a-buzzing, but nothing like this.
When I got into the booth a relatively quick 25 minutes later I documented my thinking process as I cast my historic vote.
NOW GET OUT AND VOTE YOURSELVES! I got up before dawn and voted in the Bluest of Blue districts in the Bluest of states. Do not mess this up for the rest of us because you got complacent.
Thanks
