An interview with Sarah Palin showed up in the Anchorage Daily News yesterday. I came across it today. Here it is. It has the usual Sarah Palin nonsense... the stuff we've all had to stomach since her nomination.
But it also had an interesting little tidbit. Remember those medical records?
There were persistent, emphatic calls for Palin's medical records, right up until the last moments of the campaign. Andrew Sullivan was particularly diligent on this.
Yet, bubkus. Nothing. Who knows what could be in there... and, ultimately, maybe it doesn't matter. But nonsense like this sure does:
Q. What misinformation are you talking about?
A. Some of the goofy things like who was Trig's mom. Well, I'm Trig's mom (raises her hand) and do you want to see my medical records to prove that?
Well, actually, yes we do. You certainly were asked about them enough times, Sarah Palin. But you and your campaign produced nothing.
Like I said... maybe it doesn't matter what's in those records, maybe it does. I don't care any more about the contents. But the process -- and the blatant, blatant misinformation she just provided the ADN's reporter is just more confirmation that Sarah Palin as VP would have been a disaster.
