As I write this there are only 30.5 hours left to Campaign '08 in NE Ohio. At 6:30 AM Eastern Tuesday my local polling place will open its doors and the first of my neighbors will arrive to cast their vote.
As for me, I voted absentee. It feels safter, and it's already taken care of so I can watch the news, follow the blogs, and be ready to get out there to take a few pics if possible.
I'm also finishing the last few batches of what will end up being 24 dozen chocolate-butterscotch chip and oatmeal-raisin coolies made from scratch. They'll be headed to the Parma, OH Obama field office in the morning.
I have to admit - it won't be easy to sleep tonight or tomorrow night. Standing here on the verge of history, it's too exciting to think of closing my eyes for anything more than a nap.
So, c'mon, let's have a Beasties-fest - bring your pooties, your woozles, your birdies, and any other wee beastie you may own and let's talk about what's going to be happening in just 30.5 hours!
In our house, it really kicked off when the McCain's housing problems hit the airwaves. How could we ever send a bunch of non-pootie wingers to do the job? Henry and Eleanor had something to say about that!

The call went out for help from a pro, someone who knew DC but wasn't a beltway insider:

.
From the very beginning, Henry was an Obama pootie:

Eleanor took a little more convincing, she watched every primary debate with a great deal of attention:

Enough - let's get on with opining and showing!
Peace.
