((Note: I did not have the chance to make any responses to my diary yesterday which discussed potential rioting in Denver at this year's Democratic National Convention. So if you were hoping for a response from me, please check the diary now as I have had the opportunity to go back and add several replies. I want to thank everyone who rec'd the diary, and who also, obviously, read and saw the same disgusting remarks and images here at Daily Kos which necessitated my writing the diary in the first place. There is no place for violence or threat of aggressive, offensively-oriented physical intimidation towards our own leaders in any Democratic Party which I wish to be a part of, either now or in the future. Thank you. The current diary entry will proceed following the jump.))

MI Dem Party allocates 73 PLEDGED delegates to Clinton!!
.
.
The Michigan Democratic Party has just announced that due to her success in the state's primary (which saw the New York senator take 55 percent of the popular vote), Hillary Clinton has been designated to receive 73 of the state's pledged delegates!
Great news for Clinton supporters. This will help Hillary and us sustain ourselves throughout the Obama-friendly terrain of February (although, Hillary is on a fundraising surge, so we'll see how Feb plays out).
Because Obama ill-advisedly took his name off of the MI ballot (something which did not happen in the Florida contest), he has earned exactly 0 pledged MI delegates, resulting in a net gain (so far) of 73 for Clinton in The Wolverine State.
MI has 128 total pledged delegates. The other 55 will be allocated in the future, according to the cited article.
.
Unlike the nearly 40 year old superdelegate rule, the DNC only decided to strip MI of it's delegates this primary season after the Michigan Democratic Party had the 'chutzpah' to want to have its voters matter more in deciding the Party's nominee and get in on the early-primary action so long dominated -- and unfairly so -- by Iowa and New Hampshire. The DNC's decision not to seat MI's delegates (which the article goes on to say 'party leaders' feel will end up being reversed, and thus the delegates will end up seated) was a TOTALLY ARBITRARY one, remember that. The DNC willingly chose to disenfranchise the MI voter, and they should be held to account for that mind-numbingly foolish decision.
So, remember this +73 pledged delegate number when the returns start coming in tomorrow from LA and Washington. Even though Obama has both a 'Black Belt' state and another caucus which helps him bring in non-Deomcrats to help decide our Democratic nominee, Hillary supporters can be bolstered by this news as we get ready to fundraise like crazy and weather the character-testing month of February.
Rest assured, the Michigan pledged delegate cavalry has just arrived over the hill. We are on our way to victory, one delegate at a time.
.
PS: When confronting irrational Obama supporters who both wish to see the DNC stand up for its arbitrary rules on MI and FLA but who ALSO want to see the DNC abolish its almost 40 years of tradition as regards superdelegates, just smile politely and nod your head. Resist the urge to chuckle at Obama's and his fans' opportunistic hypocrisy, as tempting as it is to laugh.
We are one step closer to having our first female nominee, and first female president ever. No cult of personality or sexist forces can stop us now!
.
Please: Donate generously to Hillary, and let MSNBC and other Clinton-hating media outlets know that you are sick as hell of the women-bashing and you're not going to take it anymore.
Onwards, to victory!

Update: I am going to repost a comment here which the Obama supporters, it would seem, do not want you, the reader, to see. Perhaps because it is a bit too accurate? Not sure. Anyways:

Comment Title: "Thank Jesse Jackson, Jr....
Comment Body:
...and his crying about Katrina remarks; or Michelle Obama's 'black America will wake up' remark, or The South Carolina Memo from Amaya Smith, or...
Obama made his bed; now he gets to lie in it.
Team Obama's race-baiting will be the final straw of his campaign. It looked great in South Carolina and the rest of The Black Belt. Not so good in California, New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, etc."

I understand the desire to censor remarks about your candidate's dubious campaign practices. However, I will not be censored in my own diary.
Thanks.
Thumbs up!
