My family and friends all know that I am an Obamanite. I live in Florida and I met him in October when he was here for a fundraiser in Jacksonville. I have phonebanked from his website, I have donated to his campaign, I tell EVERYONE I know how great he is and his positions on the various issues, I spent a little over $50 bucks for a glitter Obama 2008 pin on annhand.com (and I wear it everywhere). I have prayed for his success, and I consider myself one of his greatest defenders..........
That being said, it is time for Obama to stop cruising on the numbers. As much as I have HATED Hillary AND Bill for their antics and race-baiting throughout the campaign, I am FORCED to admire her grit and determination and willingness to fight for what she deems as her right. I am not getting that from Obama right now and it is frustrating because he is such a great candidate.
He and he alone can stop the madness....... He needs to DEFINE who he is, and a rally is not it. I remember back in 1992 when Gennifer Flowers took to the mike and proclaimed that she and Bill had a long term affair, and Hillary proclaimed to the world that she did not bake cookies (or something like that), they went on 60 minutes and confronted their accusers head-on.
Obama and Michelle need to go on 60 minutes and stop allowing themselves to be defined as elitists who hate America. It is disturbing but if they don't take this problem head-on, it could cost him the election. He needs to confront the neocons on their home turf. Sit down with O'Reilly and call Hannity's show. The best defense is a good offense. He did pretty good with his speech on race, but in today's world, you're only as good as what happened 5 minutes ago. IT IS TIME.....Stop coasting to the nomination......He can knock Hillary out if he takes the MSM head-on. Answer ANY AND ALL questions. When the interviewer asks about a **$$#$### flag pin, turn the tables......."Do you not love America since you don't have one on?" Let the world see how ridiculous it is. Americans love their country, but we are not all wearing flag pins. Tell the world how Rev. Wright did not take a deferment (unlike Cheney), but he fought in Vietnam, and because of his service he has earned the right to speak his mind even when one does not agree.
I HAVE HAD IT.......I am Fired Up And Ready To Go.......I hope that Barack Obama is too.
UPDATE: I am not talking about going NEGATIVE.....But he really needs to give a CLEAR picture of who he is......He started that narrative with the race speech, but since the "Elistist" bit, he needs to continue the narrative.
