According to Faux News, John McCain has declared that the recent SCOTUS ruling on detainees at Guantanamo is "one of the worst decisions in the history of this country."
Perhaps McCain would like to revisit some previous decisions he might find disagreeable:
1776: A bunch of no good terrorists overthrew the rightful British government via a document, which eventually led to all-out open warfare. This so-called Declaration of Independence started America off on the wrong foot as if we had dealt with these troublemakers and instigators way back then, we would not be facing Islamic terrorists today. It's not that important that this document never went through any sort of judicial review, as the activist judges of the time would most certainly have approved it anyway.
1896: Plessy v. Ferguson, the decision that permitted separate, but equal treatment for Blacks and Whites, saw America legally accept that Black people were allowed to live in a White, Christian nation. McCain, then the junior senator from Arizona, was at the forefront of those advocating for Blacks to remain as 3/5 citizens, or better yet, shipping them back to Africa.
1919: The Nineteenth Amendment, another piece of vile legislation never approved by non-activist judges, went above and beyond any sense of decency by granting women the right to vote. Up until this point, most nations, God-fearing nations, were fully aware that women were prone to voting while hysterical and that this might lead to invalid elections. Complicating this was the fact that it allowed married men, who could tell their subservient wives how to vote, effectively had another vote. Any legislation, even a constitutional amendment, that gives some men twice the voting power of others is little better than slavery.
1954: Brown vs. Board of Education opened up American schools for young jihadists everywhere to sit next to law-abiding students. Instead of stink bombs, this decision enabled students with dark complexions to bring real bombs into the classroom, which they would then use to terrorize God-fearing Christian students and teachers.
1964: The Civil Rights Act passed in this year set race relations back by generations. Before this was instituted, Blacks and Whites knew their places, but this misguided piece of legislation has led to uppity colored folk thinking they can run for president. Only White parents should be allowed to tell their children they could dream of becoming president.
As you can see, John McCain obviously has not given enough thought to these other legal tragedies which have been foisted off on honest, hard-working White Americans. Had he bothered to do so, he would have noticed a significant trend of these activist judges seeking to push the nonsensical notion that all people are equal onto an unsuspecting populace.
