I don't like to write. I mostly read your posts but someone has popped one of my progressive and idealistic balloons. I just read that Obama's new national security advisory group includes Anthony Lake, Lee Hamilton, William Perry, Warren Christopher, and Madeleine Albright.
Is it a compromise for Hillary Clinton supporters? Why would he hire great grandparents? No offence; I'm a baby boomer. Some of them are in their 70's, McCains age. Why Albright? Wasn't it she that said, "I think this is a very hard choice, but the price — we think the price is worth it,"in response to half a million Iraqi children dying?http://en.wikipedia.org/...
What about young, bright visionary people such as Samantha Power? Doesn't
Hillary have any young intelligent leaders? Where are the young, ethical progressive, leaders that represent CHANGE? Change is looking forward, not looking back to the past.
I know inclusive means ALL, but we have big problems.
"Obama is relying on old standbys whose out-of-date philosophies were shaped by the Vietnam and Cold War era."

I look at these names and I think Vietnam, Iranians kidnaping Americans, Clinton, one half million Iraqi children dead, letting Binladen escape, standing by while Rwanda bled. Do we really want these advisors?
