Move. On. There is a big old world out there full of news and stories that deserve your full attention and concern.
Edwards had an affair. He told Elizabeth about it in 2006. Two years ago.
In a statement provided to The Associated Press, Elizabeth Edwards confirmed that her husband had confessed the extramarital affair to her in 2006 but that after a "long and painful process" she was now standing by him.
They are dealing with his infidelity. They are dealing with the pain it has caused and will cause.
This is none of any of our business. The affair did not affect the job Edwards has done for his constituents. The affair did not affect the work he has done for the country as a whole.
Sure, we all feel betrayed. But come on, be realistic. We are organic beings and will continue to disappoint those we love and respect, no matter how hard we try.
This is what you should be concerned about.
*Tibet*
Police have arrested 1,130 people Friday as they protested in front of the Chinese Embassy in Nepal's capital, Kathmandu, a police spokesman said. Among those being taken into custody were Tibetan exiles, including Buddhist monks and nuns, according to authorities.
The terror for the peaceful continues.
*Afghanistan*
Coalition troops in eastern Afghanistan accidentally killed four women and a child during an operation against the Taliban, the U.S.-led coalition said on Friday.
Or, this.
The young Afghan girl sits in the center of the room, weeping. Using her hand and her blue scarf to hide her face, she recounts how she was brutally raped by five gunmen.
"We will all commit suicide; this is not living," cries the mother of the girl, whose gang-rape occurred in Northern Afghanistan.
The girl's adolescent voice pleads for help from Hamid Karzai, the president of Afghanistan.
The girl's elderly and immobilized father trembles and can only raise a quivering hand as he sobs. He is rendered helpless in a country where a man's dignity and honor is protecting his family.
The terror for the innocent continues.
*Somalia*
A roadside bombing in Somalia's capital killed 21 women who were cleaning rubbish from a southern Mogadishu street on Sunday morning, a hospital official said.
Or in .*Kenya*
"There are so many of us girls on the streets these days," Janet, dressed in a black miniskirt and white blouse, told The Associated Press in Eldoret, a western Kenya town that was a flashpoint of this year's deadly postelection crisis.
Prostitution and sexual exploitation are on the rise in the wake of the violence, which killed more than 1,000 people, eviscerated the economy and forced tens of thousands of children to leave school, doctors and human rights groups say.
From *Nigeria*.
A Nigerian militant group issued a statement Wednesday saying it will destroy major oil pipelines "within the next 30 days" to disassociate itself from a government pipeline protection deal.
The terror in Africa continues.
Need I go on?
Move on. Give Elizabeth and John time to heal. Pissed at John? Fine. then leave them alone for Elizabeth's sake.
