Though most of the MSM seems not to know thanks to the Palin orgasms coming daily from Fox and the like, Biden's gonna give a major speech tomorrow.
I know this is one of those short diaries everyone hates, but I wanted to let you guys know and it probably would've gone unnoticed in an open thread. According to CNN (who buried it at the bottom of a blog in the corner of their website), "Monday Biden will deliver an economic speech in Michigan that an advisor is calling the "Bush 44 speech", looking to further tie McCain’s economic policies to President Bush’s and accuse McCain of running a "dishonorable and deceptive" campaign."
I hope it's covered, though the recent Lehman-Merrill Lynch clusterf**k may overshadow everything politicky tomorrow. Oh well. At least that, too (the banks collapsing) is good for Obama as well. It sucks for Wall St but maybe we can get this campaign back on the friggin' economy.
EDIT - And Obama needs to make an ad about these banks collapsing. Maybe just him talking to the camera...
"Two of the biggest banks in America just collapsed. And they collapsed because George Bush and his Republican Party, including John McCain, let Wall St go nuts. Do we really want to see more financial instability in America? I don't. And that's why we can't afford to elect John McCain."
