It turns into slime. My grandfather taught me that and Sarah and John have shown it to be true yet again.
So what is the slimiest part of what they are doing?
Is it troopergate? Is it "Fundamentals are strong"?
Is it the maverick label?
I think the answer is all of the above.
Clearly Palin tried to influence a personnel matter improperly. We may never know exactly how much.
McCain is clearly out of touch with the economy, his words will haunt him the rest of the campaign.
He clearly is a maverick in small circles but not to the general public. 91% voting with Bush makes him a yes-man.
So which one will be his downfall?
