I was reading my treeware copy of the Washington Post this morning when I saw this photo of the delegates at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul:
Something jumped right out at me. Can you guess what it is? (I'll give you a hint after the jump.)
Ok, here's a hint. This is from the Democratic National Convention in Denver:
Did you catch that? No? Let's try that again. St. Paul...
Denver.
Still don't get it? Ok, here are a few more hints:
St. Paul...
Denver.
St. Paul...
Denver.
St. Paul...
Denver.
St. Paul...
Denver.
St. Paul...
Denver.
St. Paul...
Denver.
St. Paul...
Denver.
You get it now? That's right: There are no Obama/Biden buttons or signs to be seen anywhere in St. Paul! None! Zero! Which is surprising considering that many of the delegates there are secretly planning to vote for Obama.
Oh, and the people in Denver actually seem happy about their candidates and platform!
And oh yeah, in the St. Paul photo there can't be more than a half dozen minority faces in a crowd of at least two hundred delegates. (The effect was particularly strong in the black & white photo printed in the Post.)
