I write about my 48 hour challenge for Americans across the United States of America.
In the next 48 hours, I want to have 20 new donors to my personal fundraising page on Barack Obama's website and raise $300 by this Monday night. As a member of Senator Obama's Grassroots Finance Committee, I need to raise $2,000 by November or my fundraising goal could fail. I did not fail on my first goal and I don't plan on failing on my second goal.

I'm working hard to change not only our country but the political process itself by pursuing a personal fundraising goal for Senator Barack Obama's presidential campaign. This is about more than just supporting the campaign. It's also about making a statement that ordinary Americans working together can make a real difference and change Washington. As a teenager in high school, I can't vote but I want America to vote for a candidate that will lead America in the right direction and will unite Americans in a time of neeed.
The September financial reporting deadline is coming in about ten days, and we have an opportunity to show that a campaign funded by ordinary people can go toe-to-toe with the Washington lobbyists and special interests lined up behind Senator John McCain and the Republican Party. We also have an opportunity to show that teenagers can be involved and make a difference. Will you take a moment to check out my fundrasing page and consider making a donation?

All contributions goes directly to the Obama for America campaign. I'm a member of Barack Obama's Grassroots Finance Committee. As a member in good standing, I need to raise $2,000 by November. If I raise that amount, I will reach my overall fundraising goal of $5,000 for this campaign. I understand that I can vote for Senator Obama and Senator Biden but I'm putting a lot of my time into this campaign. I've made many calls. I went door-to-door. I've hosted events. And finally, I've raised over $3,000 and hopefully $5,000 soon. I would like everyone's help to reach my goal. Can I count on hope and your support?
