► The U.S. Senate will vote to pass the Jobs-Stimulus Bill this Monday!
► Size of Senate version is $780 Billion, about a $30 Billion difference from the House version.
► The GOP's asshat amendments were defeated. Winger Lindsey Graham was reduced to screaming on tee vee, "I will not be intimidated by the President". Which of course means he's intimidated.
► This is GREAT NEWS FOR McCAIN
*
Seriously, this is a MAJOR VICTORY. In early 1993, President Clinton, the master politician of his generation, with 56 Democratic Senators, in the midst of the first BAD Bush recession, failed to break a Republican filibuster on a modest $16 billion stimulus bill.
HIGHLIGHTS

► The House of Representatives begins reconciling deferences on Monday.

► Ted Kennedy, who's been absent do to his illness, will appear on Monday to cast his vote his FIRST vote of the year (Hat Tip to our dear friend, casperr).
