Our Karl Rove, the blog, is still retired (may it rest in peace). But, despite my optimism for Obama's communications skills, OKR memes are apparently still needed.
The point of OKR? To convey progressive ideals as mainstream values. Too often, conservative ideals are considered mainstream, and that has not been all that healthy for our republic.
On inauguration day, I retired Our Karl Rove, the blog. The thinking was,
in an age of hope and post-partisanship, there was no place for OKR. Plus,
as you know, I've moved onto a new blog, http://BetweenTheColumns.com.
Yet, despite Obama's amazing ability to communicate, there still seems to be
a need to frame progressive ideals in ways that appeal to the mainstream.
And what better vehicle to convey sound bite-sized soundbites than the
popular, 140-character-limited Twitter?
If you're interested in getting brief "tweets" from OKR moving forward,
