One thing that the Republicans refuse to do is admit that they lost the Senate seat in Minnesota. Mitch McConnell, John Cornyn and all the Senate Republican "leadership" are desperate to rob the voters of Minnesota of their Constitutional representation because they do not like the sound of Minnesota's voice. However, now it seems as if this stubborn attempt to delay and destroy Democracy may cost Coleman more than his seat, and McConnell's abscense may cause Kentucky's "junior" Senator Bunning to go down in flames right along with Coleman.
Yes, despite all the attempts of McConnell and his ilk the fact remains that he is further castrated as Al Franken has won this seat. The only reason McConnell wants to drag it out is because he knows his idiotic ideology in rubber-stamping every failed policy of Bush/Cheney will shortly cost him even a filibuster.
The funny part is that now all the attention focused on this race by Republicans may have backfired:
FBI agents in Minnesota have begun asking questions about the relationship between former U.S. Sen. Norm Coleman and a close friend and donor, according to a Minnesota source to whom the agents talked.
The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter, said the "main topic" of the two agents' questions surrounded an allegation that Bloomington financier Nasser Kazeminy paid for suits and other items Coleman and his wife shopped for at Neiman Marcus in Minneapolis.

So Coleman and the Republicans on top of slapping the voters of Minnesota in the face, and being sore losers who do not believe in Democracy are also crooks and liars. Imagine that!!
It appears as if all the fundraising by Republicans to pay Coleman's legal bills may have to heat up really quick. There just may be plenty of bills to pay. Why don't the Republicans just give up and let Democracy take its course?? It may cost them far less in the end.
Besides, McConnell has plenty of work to do here in Kentucky saving this Senate seat. In case he hasn't noticed Democrats have two fine candidates in a primary to run for that seat and one of them, Lt. Gov. Dan Mongiardo has already outraised Bunning in the First Quarter. Atty. General Jack Conway did not enter quick enough too, but I bet next quarter TWO Democrats will outraise Bunning.
Have you not done enough to stab the voters of Minnesota in the back yet little Mitchy?? Do you not have elections to steal and Democracy to cheat the voters of Kentucky out of?? Mitch McConnell, call home your tattered, outdated, and idealess party needs you to lose here and cry about it again.
At Hillbilly Report we would like to take McConnell's fundraising plea for Coleman and send him a special message:
Mitch McConnell Call Home!! There is plenty of lying and cheating for you to do in this race too!!
