Well, I guess she copuld always run for President under the Alaska Independence Party banner, since Mikey doesn't want her on the GOP ticket, apparently.
Palin had cited attacks on her family and multiple ethics complaints that had forced her family to rack up hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal bills. As a result, it's unlikely she'd run for president in 2012, suggested Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele.
"Not having talked to the governor, I take 2012 off the table right now simply because given everything she's going through personally, dealing with the financial mess that all these ludicrous investigations have put her and Todd in, at the moment, I think she's trying to focus on getting her house in order, her personal house in order," Steele told FOX News.

So, Michael (I wear my hat backwards) Steele won't let Caribou Barbie into the playground in 2012? Looks like the GOP is continuing to eat their own. 40 some percent of those who identify as GOP supporters think she shot herself in the foot by quitting as Governor when the going got tough. Does she really anticipate getting enough of the national vote (Dem,Rep and Independant)?
Just stay out on the fishing boat Sarah, you're done.

Addendum:
Ok, here we go...Mea Culpa
Since Mikey Steele said that Sarah Palin running for President of the United States in 2012 as a GOP candidate was "Off the table", I made the snarky remark that "Maybe she could run as a member of the AIP" The secessionist party that her hubby "accidentally" was a member of for 7 years. Sorry for the confusion.
