Look I've been busy and haven't got to devote as much time to this as I would like. I want the strong public option but word is that's not what we are getting so to anyone that knows, is this plan shit or what?
Things that I don't want in the bill, taxing small businesses, fining people who can't pay for healthcare insurance, mandatory anything.
Things I do want strong public option that will actually force insurance companies to lower costs and expand coverage. I want poor people to not be robbed paying for healthcare and I want the public option to be easy to enroll in.
If anyone could explain it or point me to a good article I would be appreciative.
Is slinkerwink happy?
And just so you know, I also support single payer, and I see the public option as a compromise already.
This is a one of my make or break issues and it sucks that I haven't gotten to be on it recently. I'm working a lot lately.
Thanks to whoever takes the time to respond.
