Perhaps, the large shareholders of health insurance companies should be targeted in the same way shareholders of oil companies operating in Sudan, or South Africa during apartheid were targeted.
I'm looking at Warren Buffet's holdings and he's got
some health insurance operators...Wellpoint Inc. (NYSE: WLP) is 3.5 million,... United Health Group (NYSE: UNH) was listed as 4.5 million
8 million shares in health insurance. Perhaps, if people switched from Buffet's GEICO to other low cost auto insurance companies that don't spend so much on advertising with a snotty lizard.
Aetna, United, and Wellpoint are all over 77% owned by financial institutions like Buffet's Berkshire...perhaps they have investments that could be influenced by people who
disagree with their health insurance holdings.
The same folks we forked over trillions in government aid are the same ones who own the Health Insurance companies.
TARP is paying for the fight against Health Care Reform and Public Option.
