What did you do to take the White House and Congress back?
Maybe you went door to door, stumping for votes. Maybe you put in some time at a call bank, slapped a bumper sticker on your car, or just talked some people into voting Democratic when they were previously on the fence.
You did it because you wanted change. You did it because you wanted real healthcare reform. You did it because you actually thought insurance companies might not be running the show anymore.
You were duped. But don't worry, the DSCC and countless other Washington-based Democratic organizations will come running back to you for more money, more time, more effort, and continue to deliver absolutely nothing. So what should you do?
Unsubscribe.
Let's face it, there are very few ways for progressives to make a statement these days. One very easy and obvious way to get Washington's attention is to unsubscribe from Democratic email lists. The DSCC is an obvious candidate for this tactic. Personally, I'm holding every Democrat and every Democratic fundraising apparatus accountable by tuning them out. Sorry, Patrick Murphy. Sorry, Arlen. Sorry, Joe Biden and Barack Obama. I'm in a surly mood and the FAILboat is being loaded with cargo boxes of angry mouseclicks.
Washington doesn't feel like your opinions and needs matter. Why not return the sentiment?
