The National Association for the Deaf has been working with the Obama transition team and the inauguration committee on making the inauguration events accessible for the deaf and hard-of-hearing Americans. My hat's off to them on this one, and hopefully they can continue to push to make all Youtube videos on www.change.gov captioned for the deaf and hard of hearing.
The NAD Advocacy Blog posted the locations of all the Jumbotrons with available captions, and linked to the inaugural committee website where the inauguration will be captioned online for those who cannot watch it on television or at home.
Jumbotrons With Captions
More than 20 jumbo televisions ("Jumbotrons") will be set up for people to watch the Inaugural Ceremonies in Washington, DC, on Tuesday, January 20th. Jumbotrons will be set up on the U.S. Capitol Grounds (between the U.S. Capitol building and 4th Street) for people with tickets, and on the National Mall (between 4th Street and the Lincoln Memorial) for people without tickets. All Jumbotrons will display captions.

And you can go to the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies website to watch the inauguration online with captions on January 20th. So, tomorrow, make sure to tune in online!
