Sen. Obama lapsed into the "royal we" tonight. Found it right here on DailyKos. Wondering if it means anything?

Obama: Well, first of all I think it's important to note that every economist, conservative or liberal, at this point agrees that we have to have a substantial recovery plan that helps to jump-start the economy, that short-term it's going to be expensive, but it would be much more expensive to see the economy continue in the tailspin that it's been going in. We've seen ranges from $800 to $1.3 trillion and our attitude was that given the legislative process, if we start towards the low end of that, we'll see how it develops. We are concerned ...
Harwood: It's going to get bigger.
Obama: Well, we don't know yet.
He starts off saying "I" then moves to "We."
Just a data point.
UPDATE: This was a real thing. I post a lot of stuff that is ignored here, and I'm ok with that.
If there was a way to post drafts, then save them indefinitely, I would have done that.
If you felt taken, sorry. Wasn't my intention. A "hide" or "do not publish but save as draft" feature (that doesn't delete the draft over time) would be pretty useful. I don't "live" here, but visit occasionally. I also don't think about this stuff all the time and in the meantime, I need a way to remember insights I've picked up along the way.
This particular insight was interesting to me because I've been following Obama for a long time. I admire his ability to inspire people through his personal and self-referential tone. The passage above just jumped out at me because it seemed so different from his previous tone. A data point, no judgement.
Why is it that snarky, possibly ironic headlines do better than straightforward, factual heads here on DKos? How come this diary gets read/commented more than 5 substantive posts on the drug war and command-control problems in Afghanistan? Makes me think that if someone has a need to be read around here, that once must adopt a snarky, cynical personna and go into propagandist mode.
Sheesh!
