Did you buy a house in the last few boom years?
Is that loan underwater?
Is your investment turning into a boulder you push up a hill every month at the cost of your mental and physical health?
Walk away from your mortgage. Just put it down and walk away from Goldman Sachs.
The investment and commercial banks are the culpable parties. Not you. They created and concealed and profited from system corruption, not you.
Reasons why you should feel free to do so:
- The banks lent money to people who didn't exist, temporarily hyper-inflating the value of your home, not you.
- The banks fraudulently steered qualified borrowers away from traditional loans into sub-prime loans that exploded on them and killed the value on your house, not you.
- Your initial lender walked away from you the minute you signed your mortgage by selling it to Goldman Sachs.
Why should you care about propping up Goldman Sachs bottom line? Goldman Sachs doesn't give a flip about you.
- The banks walked away last year with hundreds of billions of ill gotten gains so they can stuff their faces and bank accounts, why shouldn't you do it to survive?
- Who needs a credit record if you can't get any credit?
- What good is a credit record when you're dying out on the street because you cashed out your life savings to pay your mortgage interest?
- They banks bought out Congress to prevent you from taking any other measure to seek a fair deal, not you.
Walk away from the banks.
