This will not be pretty, but it will be sweet.
I bagged me some teabaggers yesterday. You guys helped.
I had no intention of writing a diary today, and I really can't do a good one, so flame me if you must. But I bagged me some teabaggers yesterday and it feels damn good.
Through a series of events, which began with an Action Alert put out by two self-proclaimed patriots, and evolved into some phone calls and a little action on my part, I was able to cause a little trouble to the baggers yesterday. I think some other Kossacks did too. WTG.
In the action alert about this rally, One of the organizers represents herself in connection with a Parkinson's group:
Jennifer Hulsey

American Patriot Fighting Government Run Health Care!
Development Director for the Northwest GA Parkinson's Disease Association, Inc.
Coordinator for the Parkinson's Walk for Hope
I called the Parkinson's Disease Foundation yesterday, after reading the Parkinson's Disease Foundation's Principles for HCR and made them aware of this situation.
The gentleman I spoke to was extremely concerned and told me that the Parkinson's Disease Foundation is a strong advocate FOR health care reform. He asked me to forward the alert, and he would take action to ensure that the Parkinson's Disease Foundation was not being used to Kill the Health Care Bill. Nice.
Apparently Ms. Hulsey doesn't mind using people who are suffering from a disease to further her personal agenda to prevent these same suffering people from receiving healthcare.
You can contact them too, maybe to thank them for supporting people struggling with disease and for supporting HCR with a nice donation:

Then, when I clicked on some of the groups mentioned in the Action Alert, I saw this:
Take Back Medicine, one of the sponsors of yesterday's killapolooza.
Where have I seen that bunny before?
HR 3962:
The "Energizer
Healthcare Bill....
it keeps growing and
growing and growing...."
Oh yea, those battery commercials.
A quick search and BOOM. I dropped another stink bomb right into their tea.
Hey lawyers for Eveready Battery company, how do you guys like what the baggers have done to your brand?
Oh and you might want to google "Energizer Bill." It sure as hell looks to me like the Energizer Bunny is trying to keep me from getting health care.

So I dropped them an email. I highlighted the Pelosi Bunny. Hey Energizer Battery company, are you working to kill HCR? If so, I might be buying Duracell.
I got a sweet sweet sweet response today:
We thank you for alerting us about this unauthorized use of the Energizer name and trademarks and we have passed this information to our legal department. Energizer is not associated with this campaign and we will certainly review it.
Thanks again for supporting our company and brands,
The Energizer Safe Harbor Team
I expect the link to the Pelosi Bunny will be pulled any minute now, so if you want to see it before it's pulled, go there now.
Na. Na. Na Na Na.
Small update: I knew about this tidbit, but in my rush didn't include it earlier. I think it's probably relevant to our discussion:
Eveready Battery Company Inc v. Michael Behrens
The Complainant’s ENERGIZER BUNNY mark is highly distinctive. In the absence of a Response from the Respondent, there appears to be no explanation other than that the Respondent registered the Domain Name in bad faith with an intent to attract, for commercial gain, customers to its site, creating a likelihood of confusion with the Complainant’s mark as to the source, affiliation or endorsement of the web site and to attract business intended for the Complainant.
What trouble did you cause for a teabagger today? Don't forget to act.
