This diary is to explore how much people are willing to pay for health care.
I keep hearing about cost and the current bill. I am wondering how much people are willing to actually pay for healthcare. Below is the table on how much people will pay in premiums under the current proposed plan.

I understand that a lot of people do not want to pay for a crappy plan. I saw in the CBO report that part of the bill will standardize what the minimum level of care would be required by the health insurance.
At some point everyone is going to have to reach in their pocket and pay for healthcare. I think we would all prefer it not be in the emergency ward. So it brings me back to the fundamental question. How much would you be willing to pay for healthcare and what would you expect to be included in that service?
I would be willing to pay 14,100 for healthcare. I would expect annual doctor's visit's. I would expect no lifetime cap on my care. I would expect that I could seek alternative preventive care.
I would also expect that my doctor would be encouraging me to live a health lifestyle to help keep down health care cost. In my case, they would stick me on a diet.
What about you?
