In a surprise move, Reid removed his mouth from Lieberman's right testicle long enough to toss a wink at Obama (who was busily working on lefty), and state that he would unveil his final offer on HCR on Saturday mornings. Lieberman responded with an approving pat on the head for Reid, with slight downward pressure, signaling his approval for the move, as well as his desire for Reid to carry on with the ... progress.
Reid is not revealing the details, but sources tell us that his final offer will change the fine for refusing to comply with mandates to %150 of the offender's household gross income. Should the offender be unable to afford the fine, or unwilling to pay it in cash, they will be permitted to pay it off by completing slave labor on behalf of a fortune 100 company of their choosing. The change does not specify the amount of slave labor that must be completed, but a source from the administration states that Obama is of the opinion that the corporations will be as fair as possible, considering the current economic climate.
As this option will be available to the entire public, Reid is expecting an onslaught of Progressive support for this change as well as a stern rebuke from the right for including the dreaded Public Option.
