It's late, how 'bout some poetry?
I transmogrified another Alejo Duran song, "Evangelina," again using serendipities of translation/transliteration/etymology to make it lots different. But this particular one maintains the flavor of the original, I think.
Join me below the fold for my version, and please post up any poems you'd like!

Good News: After Alejo Duran's "Evangelina"
The novice deserves to be innocent
and leaves for the fortress of knowledge
to learn to respect
somebody else's sons.
Sweet novice,
give me the pleasure I request,
because if you leave with them
you don't go away with me.
The novice deserves to be a novice
and leaves with fellow prisoners
to learn to despise
laughing and teasing with the men.
Sweet novice,
give me the pleasure I request,
because if you leave with them
you don't go away with me.
