The administrators of this site set an example for civil discourse, even where differences in policy exist. It's through this level of civility that the DailyKos users indeed become a community.
God You're a Dishonest Asshole (5+ / 3-)
Where did I say I don't care about spying? Where is it implied?
My point was that blocking Employee Free Choice has a much bigger effect on life in America, because of its profound and wide-reaching effect on the economy, income and wealth distribution, and as a check on corporate power than does FISA.
Are you so stupid that you think if one argues A is more important that B that you think they're saying B isn't important at all? Or are you just a dishonest jerkass trying to score a cheap point and employing dishonesty to do it?

Well, Since You Won't Say... (3+ / 6-)
...whether you're too stupid to realize that saying A is more important than B means you think that means B isn't important at all, or that you were just trying to score a cheap point by employing dishonesty in how you represented what I said, I guess we're left to decide on our own without any further clues.
I suppose, btw, there's always the additional option: all of the above.

You're a Trivial Person (10+ / 0-)
And accusing him of using "eliminationist rhetoric" is evidence in support of my claim.
I'd say you should be ashamed of yourself, but I don't think you even understand how ludicrous you are.

Hey Asshole, I Know About Neiwert (5+ / 9-)
And I think he'd be appalled that you're trivializing what he wrote by applying it the way you just did.

UPDATE: A special addition from the comments:
Right, a Contributing Editor is Different (0 / 0)
People act like dickheads to you, and they don't want you to defend yourself, and when you do, they write whiney-ass complaining diaries.
So, you're correct...but not for the reason you thought you were.

Another update:
So, You Don't Care About the Context? (0+ / 0-)
It's not important to you WHY I called someone an asshole?
REALLY???
Look, if you don't know why I called someone an asshole, you're so full of shit yourself you should hang your head in shame for being more concerned with niceties of language than with honest of argument.
And the eliminationist comment? You actually think it's OK for a user to tell someone else they're just the same as the rightwing militia people?
REALLY?????
Damn, you're a moron if context doesn't matter to you. Or a liar. You choose.

The examples above aren't an exhaustive list of the ad hominem attacks employed by the site administrator even within the past three days. It is, however, sufficiently redundant to demonstrate his honest commitment to "fair-minded" mutual respect.
