[Gosh, I hope my math is right.]
A few notes of importance as our community of bloggers inches closer to August 13-16, when we gather together to watch the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers merge to form the Ohio ....
- The DFA-Netroots Nation Scholarship Competition is still open. If you think you should be applying, apply!. If you think it's a program worth supporting, back that up with your contribution today.
- If you don't register now for NN09 in Pittsburgh at our low $275 rate, someone else will take advantage of that rate. Once our slots at that rate fills up, it'll be $325.
- We are still in the process of reviewing over 200 session proposals you've submitted for Pittsburgh. Many of them are tremendous. Tell us what sorts of things you're dying to see at our 2009 conference. What speakers should we be pursuing?
- Put aside 2009 for a second. Where should we be in 2010-11?
- Put aside the future for now. Where will you be on Friday. If it's in the DC Area, join us for a lunchtime Netroots Nation Salon on the Employee Free Choice Act with The Nation's Christopher Hayes, Stewart Acuff of the AFL-CIO, SEIU's Michael Whitney, Rebecca Wasserman from American Rights at Work and this site's own Laura Clawson.
We've got a lot going on. None of it succeeds without your input, your attendance and your enthusiasm. So tell me what you're thinking.
