The thuggish Iranian regime is not conceding anything to the reformist majority, eager for more freedoms and human rights. In response to the travesty that is the Supreme Leader, now the autoworkers at Khodro, are initiating a work slowdown in support of the opposition. More below the fold.

This move is important in showing that the revolutionary forces currently changing Iranian society is not limited to the upper-classes but includes those middle class laborers also disillusioned by the regime's lies.

Change is afoot in Iran, and it is up to Obama to maintain a safe distance away from the forces of change that are dramatically leading up to my perceived upcoming downfall of the Iranian theocracy. This revolution is, no doubtfully, going to lead to a brutal crackdown by the regime, as it now appears to be backed into a corner with no possibility of escaping.
Just as Gandhi had wisely said, "First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win." This will be the ultimate outcome of the green movement in Iran. The regime can no longer be tolerated by Iranians who will stand up against thuggish regime now. The Iranian people have tasted freedom and there is no turning back, no matter how brutal the regime will treat them.
Things are moving fast now in Iran. Let us do all we can to continue supporting the opposition forces in Iran: not by turning sites green but by continuing to provide proxies to those within Iran trying to connect with the rest of the world. Let us hope that the upcoming violence the regime will inflict will not dissuade those from continuing to fight for what is right and just.
