The 5 minute inspiration or whatever? Term: "Health Savings Account ("HSA") You own and you control the money in your HSA. Decisions on how to spend the money are made by you without relying on a third party or a health insurer. You will also decide what types of investments to make with the money in the account in order to make it grow." http://www.ustreas.gov/...
Start with a premise and some facts. This struggling middle class Republican knows and appreciates that the top 5% of taxpayers pay, I’m guessing, 90% of the income taxes. The government relies on other taxes, tariffs, excise etc., you name it, to fund another big chunk, and then borrows the rest. Here’s an idea I haven’t heard thought of yet? Tens of million of citizens like myself check a box on a form that states we are in deep gratitude to future generations, today’s filthy rich, and the Chinese. At that point a few hundred thousand dollars, maybe a half a million bucks, is then .....
....deposited into accounts controlled by us to use like a Health Savings Account. We manage it and if we do it wisely, a small per cent age makes its way back to us as some type of rebate or tax credit, or gets added to our fund for future catastrophic illness. (There would have to be a pool starting on day one as well in this fanciful idea of mine to be used for extraordinary medical emergencies today).
I don’t know? Just a thought. I now return you to the gridlock known as the Health Care Reform debate
On a lighter note, I've been going to work every day this week, doing the chores at home... and writing the most massive dairy you’ve ever seen as a follow up to last Fridays mess. The formatting alone might be enough to keep this bird from ever leaving the water.

"Not my words...." From a comment below by me concerning the paragraph directly above this one. I did put a link in after all. "not my words, but I guess I own them now. My fault." I thought I defended the words they attributed to me just fine anyway. It's all there below, I hope people who may or may not show up later expand the comment section, it's not a bad discussion.
