Over the last 2 weeks we have witnessed exactly how a people who thought they were free to elect some of their governance, defend their precieved rights, in Iran.
WE are bearing witness to violent supression of the Iranian people by their own Government, in the name of a religion. That governance is dishonoring Islam thru its violence and cruelty for the sake of its own power to control only.
Most Muslim nations are tyranical dictatorships in one form or another. Some are 'friends' of America or not, depending on how America has arranged contracts with that countries governance for that countries vital resources. Dispicable as it is those are the politics.
But this diary is not calling out the governance of nations locked in strife over money and power.
I am asking this blog to, collectively, and day after day, for 2 weeks, keep at least one blog written by different bloggers each day up and running to bear witness to people--American people, defending other people---Iranian people, for their bravery and love of their country.
It is clear that the majority of Iranian tweeters are probably in jail, little news comes from Iran and when news eventually comes it will probably be from untrust worthy sources of Iran's unjust hypocritical governance.
So for 2 weeks can another KOS blogger each day open a diary where we can all go to and bear witness to our contempt of Iran's unjust treatment of its own people. The world of people is not blind to governments rigging elections to remain in power or murdering and intimidation of its populous. Sometimes under the lies of a particular political ideology, sometimes in the name of some reighteous religion that would condemn its own actions against its people.

I am a poor diarist and I ask other poor diarists to join me by opening a diary each morning called Bloggers for Tweeters. If you have never written a diary, then you are who I am asking to break your habit of only reading and make a decision to support that spirit of freedom we have seen in the tweeters of Iran. At least for 2 weeks.
Their voices are being silenced. Ours are not, we can call out the tyrany against fellow travelers on our planet for this small amount of time.
