I've posted diaries before mentioning that I often prefer to express my feelings through making and wearing t-shirts. Lately I have been vending at DC's Eastern Market on Sundays, and I realised that I didn't actually have any shirts that directly speak to the residents of the District. So, having just seen District 9 a few days ago, this idea came to mind, which addresses both the DC voting rights issue as well as the broader sense that too many people who work in the building behind me in this photo only represent the interests of large corporations, and not the people who voted them into their jobs.
