Hello. me again. Since it seems to be a very important issue for the country, with perhaps as many as half a million lives on the line, and the subject is hitting a raw nerve with some people, I thought I would throw out a request for your ideas on why the Democrats are holding secret hearings and delaying health care reform for four years, or perhaps, better said as two entire elections, each in which they could easily lose their majority.
One really almost has to come to the conclusion that they either realized that they couldn't solve the health care affordability issue this way, (without single payer) or that they didn't want to, instead, wanting to give the GOP the opportunity? (But of course, they couldn't admit that)
What do you think? I'm going to give a few SPECULATIVE examples of possible reasons for the delay, secretive meetings (closed to CSPAN, even) and lack of transparency, in the poll, or you can suggest your own in the comments.
