Checked out Drudge today (I know, I know) and found this headline: MARK LEVIN: Obama 'Closest Thing to Dictator We've Ever Had'...follwed the link to Mark Levin's website and:
"On Friday's Mark Levin Show: Mark talks about President Obama's upcoming Supreme Court Justice Nomination. This will be crucial to the future of America and we must stand strong against who he picks. America can't afford another liberal activist judge in the courts, not when so much of our lives and liberty depend on it. Mark also explains why he thinks the filibuster is unconstitutional and that we need to stop it as well as block whomever Obama nominates."
Wow! Way to be bipartisan...you don't even know who the nominee is and you're already in opposition.
As we all breathlessly speculate on who President Obama will nominate, Republicans have already decided that any nominee must be blocked. I know that this isn't breaking news or anything, more like par for the course, but it's good to keep in mind.
I know we're all excited about the prospect of a Democratic President making SCOTUS appointments, but no matter how qualified, no matter how moderate or progressive, this will be ugly, just as everything else has been since Jan 2009.
