If by chance you've been following the saga of the massive corruption scheme (ten million felonies and counting) being perpetuated between 2,100 judges in California and their cohorts in crime, then you're already familiar with the story of America's first prominent political prisoner, Dr. Richard I. Fine, a taxpayers' advocate and civil rights attorney in Los Angeles.
Dr. Fine has been imprisoned for over a year now, held in solitary confinement in what the ACLU has reported is literally the "worst" jail in the United States, Men's Central. Dr. Fine's crime? Exposure of the corruption. His sentence? Indeterminate. He's being held on a trumped-up charge of contempt of court entered by a retaliating Superior Court judge, David P. Yaffe.
Long story short, Dr. Fine's case was set for conference by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg for consideration by the entire U.S. Supreme Court on Friday, April 23rd.
Please navigate the jump over the fold for details on the protest rallies you're invited to attend next Tuesday in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.
The gravity of the circumstances has compelled those of us familiar with the facts who are sick and tired of corruption to stage a protest rally on Tuesday, April 20th, between the hours of appx. 9:00am to 11:00am PDT (12-2pm EDT) on the steps of the Los Angeles Superior Court.
A companion rally will be held the same day on the steps of the US Supreme Court in Washington, D.C., between 11:00am and 1:00pm EDT. (The necessary permits have been obtained.)
The backstory is convoluted, so rather than reiterate it all here, you're invited to read at your leisure the information provided at the links below.
If your schedule permits, please do your utmost to attend. The continuing cover-up of literally millions of felonies, and the tortuous incarceration of a man who's committed no crime, must be righted ... and it's now or never. (And if you cannot attend, please consider making a donation at the official website, below, 'cause the filing fees and expenses are overwhelming the volunteer support team. We've invested almost $15,000 so far; fighting corruption sure isn't cheap.)
The corruption involves all California judges and commissioners except those in San Francisco, Mendocino and Yolo Counties; the corresponding members of the county Boards of Supervisors; judges on California's appellate and supreme courts who were prior participants in the payment scheme; Attorney General Edmund G. "Jerry" Brown (who has the audacity to now run for Governor of California after quashing investigations into the matter); certain members of the California Legislature, which secretively and illegally passed an ex post facto Bill purportedly forgiving all these criminals and their crimes retroactively; and even Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who signed said Bill, Senate Bill SBX2-11, into law in February 2009 (Fine was jailed in March, once Judge Yaffe believed his butt was covered).
Fine is being retaliated against for exposing a massive illegal payment scheme, which has enriched undeserving "judges" by approx. a billion dollars, monies stolen from unwitting taxpayers which could be put to MUCH better use, given the economic crisis California is experiencing.
