I'm taking a break from this site for about an hour. I can't take it anymore!!!
Maybe it's just me, but have you noticed how after you read all of the articles and you run out of articles, there isn't anything to do anymore? It's infuriating. Not even the hidden comments can entertain me for forever. There just aren't enough I/P diaries to keep the trolls coming.
The climate here has just gotten out of control - where is the infinite content I was promised by Howard Dean in a dream that featured a talking dog and 15 monkeys dressed as lizards?
It's a sad statement on the state of the Democratic party, Obama, the netroots, Markos, Howard Dean, Rahm, and Armando that I can't spend infinite time on here and that I'm driven to go do other things occasionally.
So I'll be leaving for a while. I hope things have changed in an hour. I hope that you all have gotten your act together, written some new articles, and created some new and interesting content, because I've had it up to here with the stale nature of this site over the last few minutes. It's like people are repeating the same articles over and over. Each time I refresh the page, it's the exact same thing. How many times can I read Politico Speculates: SCOTUS Pick Monday, and It's Kagan? I mean...hello McJoan? Have you read the FAQ? Already diaried by someone with a similar name earlier!
Please clean up your house. Get it together. I'm fed up with the Obamabots whose articles seem to linger for minutes and sometimes hours with their praise for everything Obama. Ok! We get it! Do I have to read about how great Obama is every minute of the last 10 minutes? I'm also sick of the Obama bashers who write these tiresome screeds that declare their hatred for Obama. I get it. You are not a big fan of Obama. But it's been 33 seconds since you posted about how he failed us and made your puppy suddenly anthropomorphize and cry, and it's still on the recent diary list!
We're in the twitter age, folks. This is ridiculous. Change this site into something that's easier for the low attention span citizen to navigate. Perhaps we should get rid of the text content and just produce video of car chases. And at the bottom of the video screen, make sure there is a ticker that gives us all of the most important news of the day. And maybe the news can be presented by attractive anchors who appear to have below average intelligence.
That's what we need. We need fresh content. Carpe Minute! We can't be too slow like this guy:
