Treasures from the blogosphere. I won't subject folks to my tortured snark or words of wankdom wisdom. Simply, here's a brief roundup containing a sampling of the terrific and focused writing I've read this morning.

rumproast dissects a PUMA's Dr. Phil offering into the psyche of the Kenyan Witch Doctor Mooolsem terrist President Obama. Hilarity ensues. If time permits, don't miss the comments section, as a PUMA unwisely stumbles upon this pack of snarkalicious trollhunters in attempts to explain his inexplicable McCain/Palin boosterism.
Robin from Berkeley, who claims to be a "shrink" (*shudder*), is back and has unleashed another doozy:
Many people attribute Obama’s oddness to his narcissism. True, Obama has a gargantuan ego, and he is notoriously thin-skinned.
Yet a personality disorder like narcissism does not explain Obama’s strangeness: his giggling while being asked about the economy; his continuing a shout-out rather than announcing the Ft. Hood shootings; or his vacations, golfing, partying and fundraising during the calamitous oil spill.
Thanks for your deep thoughts, Robin. The comedy which greeted this "evaluation" in the comments section is beyond description.

BalloonJuice had a great entry, filed under the Our Failed Media Experiment tag, summing up the inane proclivities of too much of the traditional media's Oil Spill analysis in one sentence: "We’ve Got Nothing to Say But We’ve Got Column Inches to Fill":
The NY Times editorial board:
If ever there was a test of President Obama’s vision of government — one that cannot solve all problems, but does what people cannot do for themselves — it is this nerve-racking early summer of 2010, with oil spewing into the Gulf of Mexico and far too many Americans out of work for far too long.
The country is frustrated and apprehensive and still waiting for Mr. Obama to put his vision into action.
The president cannot plug the leak or magically clean up the fouled Gulf of Mexico. But he and his administration need to do a lot more to show they are on top of this mess, and not perpetually behind the curve.
Shorter NY Times Editorial Board: "There isn’t much Obama can do about the oil spill, but he should be doing more of it!"
On the nose.

Sadly, No! looks crosseyed at Erick Erickson's latest assault upon common sense, annotating Erickson's tortured attempt at persuading folks that the deepwater offshore drilling moratorium is a nefarious plot to change the vacuous "President Obama's Katrina" narrative by putting people out of work. The annotation is a piece of beauty:
The Well Of Lost Plotz*
Erick Erickson, RedState:
No Act of Moderation: Why Barack Obama cannot fix the economy
Punctuation: The Grandiloquence blar extra words bla ruined.
This past week, the Gulf States who hoped Barack Obama would actually do something to help them were stunned when he imposed a ban on deep water offshore drilling.

Erickson is using what The Quotations, in their 1961 interpretation of a Johnny Burke, Jimmy Van Heusen composition made popular in 1940 by Glenn Miller, memorably called, "Yibbity-ma-ma-ma, yibbity-ma-ma-ma, muh-may-ay kin’-shit-up."
Making shit up, indeed. I'd like to say a thank you to these terrific writers. Made my morning and reminded me that the netroots really does still has much to offer! I hope that you enjoy these pieces.
Update:
Anyone remember Bernard Wright? Love him:
