Not a good day for Az. Governor Jan Brewer. She had a debate last night with all other Governor candidates and let's say it didn't go too well.
Found this at Swing State Project and figured it should be seen here as well - http://www.swingstateproject.com/...
Vids after the jump...
This first clip if from Brewer's opening statement where she seems to lose her train of thought and for the life of her can't find it.
This next vid is after the debate where she still won't answer the reporters questions of why she will not admit that no headless bodies were found in Arizona. Goddard really hit a sore spot here, as Brewer tried to attack the union called boycotts of the state and their backing of Goddard saying they're hurting the state, costing them millions. However he turned it on her saying Arizona is losing business and tourism because Brewer is making people think it's a violent dangerous place, with her claims of border violence and claims that headless bodies are being found - both claim are proven false. And yet she will not take back these claims -
I like Goddard, it's too bad he didn't run against McCain, because I think he could have beat him. Did McCain ever make any "decapitated bodies" statements? All the GOP has is fear - Sure they can whip up votes with fear, but they also scare tourists and businesses away.
And Brewer's no-good-very-bad day didn't end there as Rachel Maddow had an exclusive. The Brewer campaign was yanking all of it's political advertising from the local CBS affiliate because they didn't like the investigation it was doing into Brewer decision to sign SB1070 and her two top campaign advisers ties into the for-profit prisons that would directly benefit from the immigrant round-up.
(note I would have added the MSNBC enbed but it wouldn't work. Here is the link - http://www.msnbc.msn.com/...
