William Booth's insight (Washington Post Foreign Service Monday January 18, 2010) into Haiti's elite is an important caveat to those of us who are responsible for the equitable distribution of international earthquake aid.
The elite in Haiti prey on the poor and on us who want to help them. It's time to break the mold.
I can't cut and paste for some reason so just check out William Booth's story I hope that it is the first of many insightful and constructive pieces of investigative journalism that will help guide us in effectively helping the Haitian people.
