I hate the ridiculous policy modesty of the Obama administration. I loathe the worship of the "wisdom" of Larry Summers, who has never done anything more wise than to have Kenneth Arrow and Paul Samuelson as his uncles. Having the right Dadddy is a big win, and Larry has ridden that pony into the ground.
I loathe Timmeh in a less personal and more profound manner.
That women's sexual and reproductive health care need must be identified as disgusting and not worthy of care because these are the nastiest of nasty parts on the earth has made me weep, and nearly vomit when reading the dialogue.
I hate a stimulus that was modest and groveling in its presentation and then diminished. Because of all of this I support Martha Coakley.
How the hell do you think Scott Brown is going to help?
This is a guy who wants to empower theocrats and haters to refuse treatment to women who come to hospital for treatment for sexual assault? Who does not remember Lieberman saying women could "take a taxi" to another hospital if one had a policy of refusing health care? This is more loathsome because at least caregivers, police and others could know what evil hospitals to avoid. They cannot know when a nut will be on duty.
Scott Brown is a man who is not sure if Obama's parents were married when he was born. He is a tea-bagger.
Martha Coakley is about policy. She is not flashy. She is not shiny. She is wonky. She is no sexy Sarah. No, she is a serious and professional woman. She will do far more for progressives than Scott Brown.
A voice is a voice. A vote is a vote.
I complain and write letters to the editor. That is my voice.
I vote for the most liberal candidate who can win. That is my vote.
If you vote for Scott Brown the people in DC will not use an ouija board to determine the mystical reason for your not showing up. They will see a teabagger win. And they will be more afraid of and move closer to the teabaggers.
As someone who has complained about the state of healthcare "reform", I understand the frustration. But do not shoot us all in the foot (or the face) because if you fail to win in MA, we have failed. I am angry and frustrated, but I am not ready to give up.
