I have never wanted to write a diary. i never did on Hpost, where I spent that last four years. I always just read, and maybe comment.
But now, 24 hours since President Obama's state of the union address, I have yet to read a single diary on the subject of the military's don't ask don't tell policy, whose repealling the President put into motion last night.
As I was very pleased with his commitment to progressive values, and his decision to finally take action on this important issue, I expected that many others would be too, and consequently expected to see diaries lauding his decision on Daily Kos.
But here we are, 24 hours later, and not a mention.
Am I missing something? I thought this site was big on equality, I've read many comments before to that affect.
Anyway, I know this isn't much of a diary, but I wanted to start the discussion, at least, and let those better equipped to formulate their opinions take over :)
