When President Obama was elected to office almost 2 years ago, most of us thought we'd be getting ponies, STAT!
But we were quickly betrayed by the appointment of Rahm fucking Emanuel, who made it his mission in life to throw Daily Kossacks under the bus.
With each passing day, it became increasingly difficult for us to get fired up and ready to go.
But now, as Rahm sleeps with the fishes, it's just like starting over.

Noted scholar Christine O'Donnell explained why the DE Senate race is hers to lose.
God continued to strengthen and empower us when, you know, His strength is perfected in our weakness, and that’s what’s exciting. Because you see that, if it weren’t for faith—when all logic said it’s time to quit—we pursued; we marched on, because we knew that God was not releasing us to quit.
And now, with such an important lame duck session, you realize why we were to endure that stuff. [...]
I could be that 41st vote, making sure that they don’t get 60 votes, and that we can continue the filibuster to make sure that this backroom deal wheeling and dealing doesn’t succeed.
It's unclear which God she was referring to.
Elsewhere:
Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA) offered up some food for thought at a town hall... crazy thought, that is.
"I tell ya, we’ve got some new problems in Washington. Big problems. Just today, Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta said people in America are not eating enough fruits and vegetables. They want to give all the power to the federal government to force you to eat more fruits and vegetables. This is what the federal, CDC, they gonna be calling you to make sure you eat fruits and vegetables, every day. This is socialism of the highest order!"
And, finally:
In an Oval Office interview with Rolling Stone, President Obama had the nerve to suggest that Fox News isn't fair or balanced, which elicited exactly the sort of responses from their on-air "talent" that you'd expect.
MONICA CROWLEY: Look, Barack Obama is a radical progressive.
SEAN HANNITY: I’m confused as to, you know, how much one man can be so out of touch with the American people? ... He seems extraordinarily thin-skinned.
DANA PERINO: The more he does these types of things the more it casts him in a light of being petty, of being partisan and of being really paranoid.
It's not paranoia if they really are out to get you.
GOTV!
