From my point of view, it appears that Art Robinson taken over Daily Kos. He is the Republican candidate trying to unseat my Congressman, Peter DeFazio. Art Robinson is a global warming denier who sells religious home-school material. For the past week or so when I come to Daily Kos, there is always an Art Robinson banner ad along the top of the home page. As I click around the site reading diaries, I get some pages with as many as three different Art Robinson ads on them. Does he have so much money to spend that Daily Kos is a good investment?
Admittedly, I have clicked on these ads in the hope that Art has to pay something for every click. I've even clicked on his "donate" button but, of course, never filled out that page. I assume that tracking cookies of some sort suggest that I might be a potential donor if only I saw Art's ugly mug again (and again and again....)
Are others being followed here with such intensity by Republican candidates? Do Democrats advertise here much? Has Art bought up all the advertising to crowd out ads for Democrats? What are you seeing?
