Two completely unrelated items dominated football tweets: Junior Seau, a former NFL player, drove his vehicle off a cliff after being arrested on suspicion of assault. He was later released from the hospital with minor injuries. The Miami Dolphins won over the Green Bay Packers on an overtime field goal.

Brazil Politics
José Serra, the Brazilian candidate in the presidential elections for the PSDB (Brazilian Social-Democratic Party), was recently hit by something thrown by some Workers Party (PT) supporters while campaigning in Rio de Janeiro. According to PT supporters, Serra supposedly feigned pain, much like Chilean goalkeeper Rojas did in a football game against Brazil.

Channel B.E.T. hosted a "Top 10 Rappers of the 21st Century" television special. The list (in order) was Eminem, Lil’ Wayne, Kanye West, 50 Cent, T.I., Ludacris, Drake, Young Jeezy, Jadakiss and Rick Ross. Some, unhappy with the list, asked for a revote.
