A new report recently released by the nonpartisan organization, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA), shows that most of the Republican Party has given up on their promise to support our troops after they come home.
Abraham Lincoln once said, " To Care for Him who shall have Borne the Battle, and for his Widow, and his Orphan".
Now, Republicans say, to pass any legislation for our troops that the Democratic Party proposes can be seen as a Victory for the Democratic Party by American Voters, so we shall oppose any and all legislation in the name of Politics in order to take back control of Congress. We shall become the "Party of No", or as Sarah "Wink Wink" Palin says, "The Party of Hell No".
The majority of the "Party of Hell No" Voted "No" to the following list of Legislation. Some pieces of Legislation Passed, some Failed, and some are still stuck in Committee. You can see how YOUR representatives grade and how they voted on each of these by clicking here.

The IAVA report shows of the 94 elected officials that earned an A or A+ rating from IAVA, 91 were Democrats and 3 were Republicans. Of the 154 officials who received a D or F, 142 were Republicans and 12 were Democrats.
If you are a Veteran, a friend of a Veteran, or a family member of a Veteran, you need to know who in Washington is supporting the Veterans and who is throwing our Veterans under a bus for political gains. Take a moment of your time and go to the IAVA website and find out for yourself, don't take your Representatives word, you should know as much as you can about the person or persons you will be voting for and if they support our troops, or if they just think those three words fit nice on a bumper sticker.
There is a video below from The Rachel Maddow Show for more information about the report by the IAVA.
