At 8:30 this morning, 600 very unenthusiastic union members showed up at the Sprinkler Fitters Union Hall in NE Philly. They unenthusiastically had some coffee and greeted old and new friends. They unenthusiastically listened to labor leaders like the always-unenthusiastic Rich Trumka, elected officials like Ed Rendell, and boring and uninspiring candidates like Joe Sestak and Dan Onorato. Then they unenthusiastically picked up their walk packets and hit the streets, knocking on 40-50 fellow members' doors...which I'm sure they did very unenthusiastically also. This was (again, unenthusiastically, I'm sure) replicated at Union Halls all over the state today. How many TeaBaggers were knocking on doors, I wonder?
Unenthusiastic Union Members This is just the front of the crowd.
The Rest of the Unenthusiastic Union Members
Unenthusiastic Governor Ed Rendell
Unenthusiastic Dan Onorato
Unenthusiastic Admiral Joe Sestak (with bonus unenthusiastic Christie Brinkley over his right left shoulder)
Please excuse me now, I'm heading to an IBEW Union Hall to unenthusiastically phone bank. Ho-hum.
Update: My First TeaBagger Hate Mail!
We don't have to knock on fucking doors to get people to vote, we KNOW what we need to do on Tuesday, idiot.
And no spelling errors!
