It appears that a lot of things may be falling in place for the Democrats in Florida.
There have been 4 events that appear to favor the Democrats in the battleground state of Florida.
First, Florida Atty General Bill McCollum appears to be taking a hit in the race for governor, which may be directly related to his anti-HCR stance and lawsuit. A recent Quinnipiac poll found that 54% of voters think that his health care reform lawsuit is a "bad idea and the governor's race tightened, only giving him a 4% lead over Alex Sink.
Second, Obama hit gold with is oil drilling plan and according to the same poll, voters approve of offshore drilling in general 66 - 27 as well as drilling off the Florida coast.
Third, In another poll, in a 3 way race, Crist could possibly win the Senate seat. Yes, he is a republican, however, he would be better than a teabagger.
Finally, all those things added up spells well for President Obama. A new Rasmussen poll shows that Obama's approval rating is a 51%!! Given that the poll is from a republican leaning one, it should be interesting to see other polls.
