The Las Vegas-Review's John L. Smith, who writes a column titled "On the Boulevard", reported today, 8/20/10, that in 1992, the football coach for the Tonopah, NV team, wanted to switch to black jersey's, as a way to fire up his team for a revenge match against Laughlin High.
Former Tonopah publisher, and current Pahrump Valley Times columnist Bill Roberts, has a son who played on that team. He recently ran a column, reminding people of Angle's religious fervor, and need to keep satan from the football team.
Sharron Angle lived in Tonopah at the time, and was livid about using the "Devils" color, which is black in her mind.
Just a reminder, that with Angle's husband working for the government she constantly castigates, and with idle time on her hands, she was practicing her "religious police" busybody activities then. She must think she is in Saudi Arabia.
